The Vance Double Hole Transom Plate for outboard engines is a must for strengthening your boat's transom and distributing your outboard's weight more evenly across your entire transom instead of just on the bolt & washer area. This unit is specifically manufactured for larger engines that require the 2 hole mounting configuration. The Vance Double Hole Upper Transom Plate is 3/4'' thick aircraft grade 6061 T6 Grade Aluminum and is available in different corrosion resistant and durable coating options to meet the most stringent task for you. It fits simply on the inside of your boat's transom so that when you are installing a new jack plate on your transom, use the Vance Double Hole Upper and Lower Transom Plates on your boat to reduce stress on your transom, strengthen your transom and reduce the risk of losing your engine in the event you strike something hard with your engine and risk ripping your transom out.
