Description
The JPL2710SB is a miniature single-adjusting jacking plate developed for smaller tiller type outboard engine designs. It is capable of vertically lifting outboard 3” with an offset of 7” from transom. The engine side of the jack plate is 2'' higher than the transom so you can achieve a 5'' lift overall at maximum height if you adjust the unit all the way up. The unique ability to adjust vertically sets this unit apart from other style plates. The jack plate has a footprint of 10” Wide x 8” Length with a 1-1/4” thick clamping surface for all clamp on style outboard engines. With a weight of only 12 lbs the JPL2710SB is capable of handling engines up to 20 HP.
 
The JPL2710SB is constructed of high-strength aircraft quality aluminum and non-rusting hardware consisting of stainless steel, brass, and bearing bronze. The mounting surface plate is made of space-age polymer material known as Starboard which is stronger than marine grade plywood yet will never deteriorate. Starboard will not absorb water therefore it is not subject to rupture from freezing.
 
Note that the jack plate sold with a 1 inch board thickness is 7 inches of setback total. If you choose the 2 or 3 inch thick boards it will change the overall setback to 8 and 9 inches respectively.

Not sure what size thickness clamping plate you need? Measure the minimum distance your outboard engine will clamp and then round up to the nearest inch so you have enough for clamping your engine onto your new Vance Mini Jack Plate.     I have looking at at this jack plate for over a year just pulled the trigger my out board was setting a good 2 inches below my transom . Just. Wanted to get it higher

    What a great team to do business with. I have owned several boats throughout the years but have always bought them 100% ready for fishing.     Just what I needed for my 14x36 Duracraft w/ 15ph engine. The rear bench seat in my boat is close to the transom, resulting in the tiller handle hitting my rear seat while driving. This plate solved that problem! Wow what an improvement! Thanks Vance for making this affordable solution!!
